THE SUN

One of the first pieces I tried on a weaving loom. This textile piece shows the very first example of my inspiration towards portraying the sun which reappears in my other works. I was also inspired by very strong, even unpleasant contrasts of colours which makes an interesting case of wanting the sun as we all do but also creating a distance from it.
